It all began with an idea – and a very special alpine farmstead. A place full of history, unspoilt beauty, and memories, and radiating an incomparable flair. That’s when Armin, the current owner of the farmstead, and Simone, the daughter of a hotel operator. Together, they had a vision: They didn’t want to create a run-of-the-mill vacation resort in South Tyrol. No, they wanted to establish a family-oriented and elegant refuge. A place reflecting centuries of heritage, and where you’ll find a successful blend of modern flair and time-honored traditions.

This idea was nurtured and gradually took form. Finally, a concrete plan was formulated – and in 2016, the reconstruction began. A great deal of effort and creativity was invested in transforming existent structures and establishing new ones. Older components were enhanced and modernized. We are especially proud of the fact that we were able to employ many of our own farmstead resources: The wood used in the remodeling and the interior design components comes directly from our South Tyrolean forests – carefully felled in harmony with the lunar phases – or from weathered timbers stemming from earlier farmhouse facades.

We followed the progress being made with great enthusiasm. We continued to develop our ideas and join in on the work. Step by step, the project assumed form. We were fascinated by the modifications and were very pleased with the final results. A whole new vacation domicile had been created!
