Rustic and modern

A room at the farmstead – vacation like in the "good old days," but with a lot more luxury

Our interiors – Old & new features of the farmstead – on the verge of luxury.

What could be finer than to stand and soak in the sunlight streaming through our almost 4-meter-wide glass facades while simultaneously inhaling the forest-scented air? Our garden suites are bathed in sunlight and serve as quiet refuges offering a maximum of comfort and coziness – tastefully furnished with the marvelously weathered wood of the former façade.

Your rooms feature their own terrace and lounge area. There, you can relax and enjoy the magnificent view of the entire Eisack Valley. What better way to experience Mother Nature at her finest?

Beginning with breakfast, you’ll be confronted with a rich variety of choices. Would you prefer the rustic atmosphere of our old country parlor furnished in the style of the year 1883? Or would our new sun terrace with the sunlight glinting from the mountain tops behind the Rodenecker Alm be more to your liking?

Farm-fresh milk, jams, and fruits – from our own production

And we will serve you a veritable horn of plenty of delicious and unique products from our own farm: Fresh milk, cheese, fine jams, vegetables, fruits, herbs, and juices – everything as pure and unadulterated as you would expect when vacationing “down on the farm.”

The ingredients we use are healthy and down-to-earth – just like the cuisine here at the Ahner. Owner/operator Simone herself is busy in the kitchen, whipping up mouth-watering South Tyrolean dishes on the basis of her mother’s recipes. In a cozy but elegant atmosphere, every dinner at the Ahner becomes a true feast, combining wholesome, basic ingredients with refined cooking techniques to yield light and healthful masterpieces.

All of our products are also available for purchase in our farm shop, which is open all day for your convenience.
